Happy New Year!

Good bye 2008 and welcome 2009. So many things happened during this year. From the very beginning to the end . It was a year full of first time. 1st time I was separated from my husband, first time I lived with my in laws, 1st time I experience how it feels being a single mother. The first time I hold Sophia among other first time.
I am so thankful for so many blessing that I experienced this year, perhaps the most beautiful blessing is that I had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and though him I endured to the end.
I am ready for a new year...I think

The Gratest Gift of All

"Billy you had made some friends...Friendship is the greatest gift of all" Santa said to the little boy in The polar express movie. How do I know this line so perfectly well let say I have watched this movie about 3 or 4 times this past week with my little Danielle, but that is not what I would like to write about. When I moved to the States almost 7 years ago, I could count my friends with the fingers of one hand. Through the years I develop long lasting friendship my dear friend Corrine, my dear friend Mary, My fun and nice lady friend Pam, my great friends in Nicaragua Nohelia and Brenda. This year however, the list increased drastically. I met Rachel Price in Virginia a wonderful woman, great mother and great friend too who gives herself fully, non member I should add with great values. Rachel reminded me how important is to be and have a good friend specially when you are in a new place. Rachel touched my life so deep that I decided I would be that kind of friend in my next move. Pittsburgh was my experimental area. I forgot about myself and my self-pity, I forgot that my husband is gone, that I was new in a new city etc, because I realize that there were so many ladies who needed a friend. "Everyone needs a friend" Pte. Hinckley said and I came to realize what a truthful statement that is. There is always someone. Someone who needs to be listen to, someone who needs to be helped, someone who needs company, someone who needs to laugh, someone who needs love, someone who needs to talk or like to TALK, someone who needs to be served, someone who needs a girls night out. I am glad that I came to Pittsburgh, I am glad that I listen to the prompts of the Spirit and and follow them. I knew Heavenly Father wanted me to come here, initially I thought it was so that we can save money and for me and the girls not be in our own while Charles is in school and that is right, but there were so much more. I believe, now, the main reason was to grow as a individual, as woman, as a mother and wife as a friend as a member of the church! I have learned so much in this ward, I am not bragging at all I have all my life ahead to learn even more. I am just so happy to know why I was sent here. My mother in law who is such wise a wonderful lady had tough me so much by doing rather than saying She is always baking something for someone she si always giving 100% for her cub scout meeting, she is always have the right answer and she gave me a farewell party last night . It was so much fun we laughed so hard with all her great ideas, it was so much fun to see the ladies that came have fun, laughed and mingle with each other. (notice how many times I use the word FUN).
I guess I should finish this blog I just wnat to say that we all are different yet we all are daughters of the same Heavenly Father, there are so much we can do with all our talents paaprhasing Pte. Uchdorft I discovered I too can create something... eve a Smile

Christmas Dresses

Gram went shopping for my little girls and she came home with two beautiful Christmas dresses for Danielle and Sophia. check it out. I wanted them to match , so I look everywhere for a cute dress with a reasonable price I could not find them, but gram did... she pleased me even thought she is not much into matching dresses. Just because of this from now one she get to pick and choose to give the girls whatever she likes. I certainly appreciate how much she care for what I want and like. Here are some picture of the girls in their Christmas dresses. Thanks Gram Teresa
