Birthday party!

My girls Bday party was yesterday! Sophia turned 2 years old on june 1st and Danielle will be 5 next tuesday. Since Charles has to work this weekend and will be gone for the next two weeks for training we decided to celebrate our princesses yesterday! here are some pictures!

This is the cake that I made for them. No princesse this year! Danielle wanted this clown cake that she saw on a magazine. She even helped me to decorate it! She said and I quote "we don't have to follow the instruction we can decorate it in the way we want it makes more special"!

My creations! I spend 2 days making these clown cupcakes they were a pain in the neck! I did not have more time to make more princess cake that was a full task. Next year I will start a week before! I had do much fun making them. Danielle were so happy

Ester weekend

Charles had to work on Easter so we had to work the system we did the egg dying the day before. Sophia and Danielle had so much fun doing so with their daddy. In the evening we went to our friends house where we all celebrated easter.

We did the egg hunt on Sunday while Charles came home for lunch. We had fun not matter what.

Sophia enjoyed the egg hunting a lot. Earlier in the week we celebrated Easter at play group, so she already knew what to do .

Baby blessing and new dresses!

LAst Sunday we had the opportunity to bless our baby Sydney Aurora. Charles and some of our friends stand there and share this very special moment. This was the first time my mom was able to be present to one of my kids blessings here are some pictures.

Danielle and Sophia ot these beautiful easter dresses from Gram but Danielle did not want to wait to wear them. I figure it is a special ocassion so she could wear it and so her sister.

Gram also send them some cute every day outfits and they wore them when we went with Buelita around town. Here it is my pretty much only picture I have with the 3 of them.

Sydney got a cure brown out fit with some pink we put it on her on purpose to take this picturres of the 3 of them and send it to Gram Teresa.

Warm enough for a day!

Last thursday the weather was so warm and cozy only 40F. The sun was bright and shining, so we had to go out and go for a walk in our neighborhood! The girls had so much fun it took us one hour and half towalk around the two blocks. However, we enjoyed it so much Sydney stayed home with Buelita still not warm enough for her.

this week in our life!

Charles and I got to watch a video while I was at the hospital it is called " the happy baby on the block" in the video a dr. walks new parents on how to calm an upset baby. My husband learned how to swaddle little Sydney as you can tell she is not very happy about it, but it does work.

Danielle outgrew all her clothe so we went shopping! she loves this outfit! good thing my mom is here and she is going to make her some dresses

Danielle is taking piano lessons and she is really loving it. She practice by herself every day, so Sophia likes to "play the piano" as well.

Here is baby Sydney Aurora in her swing we are trying to figure out the way she can stay in her crib at night. She does not have any problem sleeping during the day. The problem starts when I want to go to bed.
