LAs thursday my dear friend Mary and her 2 girls came over to visit us for couple of days! We had so much like we always do! This time we wanted to do something different that it did not require us to spend too much MONEY, so we decided to go to the Square Market in down town San Antonio. My girls and her girls had lots of fun admiring the Mexican art and crafts. Then we came home and went swimming for a few hours! We can't wait to see them again! Here are some pictures of that adventure.

Wow I didn't realize that I have not publish any post in the last 2 months, so here is an update. My Dad came to visit us again he brought us presents and yummy treats from Nicaragua at least for me Charles does not think hey are yummy. Danielle and Sophia were the luckiest one they got lots of dresses made by mom and their very first earrings they are very cute but I still haven't taken them to have their ear pierce. Originally Danielle wanted to do it, but now she chicken out.

1st Soccer game

Danielle has been at 3 soccer practice, but her 1st game was yesterday at 9 am. We got up super early spend a few hours with Aunt Bekah who came for a short visit, and rushed out the door since our closest YMCA is 25 min away without traffic. Anyway, we got there hopping it would not rain like it did last weekend which will cause the cancelation of the game. Luckily it didn't happen. Some girls and parents were already there ready for the game. Not my Danielle she and her dad had to make a scene over the chin guard, the socks and finally the hoes. At this point Charles called me to rescue him because he was about to lose his mind! (never mind I have to deal with situations like this 24/7) So Danielle and I got to an agreement . She was going to wear those things until the game was over, and so she did.
Now the most important thing was that she loved playing soccer, she control that ball from the moment the game started until the very end. She score twice, she was so excited about it all the time. she kept on saying to her coach that she will " Never give up". At moments even the girls on her team tried to take the ball away from her. everyone took a break and turns, but not Danielle. The coach wouldn't take her out. Charles and I were so excited! it was fun to see this side of her so competitive. Unfortunately don't have pictures yet, but I will post them later. The blueberries won their first game!

Happy Easter!

Our easter pictures all in yellow!

Danielle working on an Easter craft while daddy plays with Sophia
Sophia is so excited with the her 1st Easter egg hunt!l

Our Easter was very peculiar since Sophia and I were sick last week , we didn't get to do as much as I wanted. However, we made it as fun as we could. We baked some easter cup cakes and set up small simple baskets (very primitive) and did a little egg hunt inside of our little apartment. I guess the most important thing is that we were together to celebrated the resurrection of our Savior. We had a wonderful service at church and had a nice dinner. Here are some pictures of the girls having fun.

Go Bluebuerries!

Our little Danielle decided that she wanted to try soccer during spring time instead of continue with her ballet classes, which was quite shocking to us. However, we want to let her experiment as much as she can, so with that in mind she started soccer practice the last weekend of March. Few days before the first practice her daddy and her went to Academy shopping for soccer gears! here are some picture of our soccer player!

Her soccer ball is white and pink as well as her shoe and chin guard!

Learning how to do passes

Here is her first GOOOOOAAAAAALLL!

The other day she asked me when she is going to start Ballet again! So stay tune one of this day...
